Obesity Prevention Innovation Pathway funding competition
The Obesity Prevention Innovation Pathway (OPIP) funding competition, delivered in partnership with OLS, Innovate UK, and Eli Lilly, has now been formally announced. You can find the press release here: New help for patients battling obesity through pharmacies and community access.
Up to £85 million has been made available across the UK. The funding competition will provide a minimum of £10 million in ring-fenced funding for devolved nations, with Scottish NHS health boards eligible to apply.

The competition aligns with the priorities set out within the recent Population Health Framework (PHF) which has a strong focus on prevention and enabling people in Scotland to achieve and maintain a healthy weight.
