Funded through the Chief Scientist’s Office, Health Innovation South East Scotland (HISES) forms part of national network created to deliver the Scottish Government’s vision to utilise the innovation process to deliver a healthier and wealthier nation for the future.

Improving Hip Fracture Outcomes Using Data SBRI Closing Soon!
The Hip Fracture Challenge has been developed in response to an innovation opportunity being identified as part of the NHS Lothian Orthopaedic Quality Improvement Programme at the Royal Infirmary Edinburgh. Organisations can apply for a share of £160,000 inclusive of VAT to develop a solution which will improve quality of care and outcomes for hip fracture patients.

This free course has been developed by The University of Strathclyde, The Data Lab, UrbanTide and the DHI. You’ll discover the principles of using healthcare data analytics, best practices around data governance, tools to help you manage and analyse data, and how to work collaboratively with data scientists and digital teams.
